| • Overview of the Week’s Fishing!
• Day 1 Arrival at Balmaceda. Journey to the Picacho River located 81 miles north of the city of Coyhaique. Then we will proceed on NRS pontoon boats equipped with jet motors to the Lodge, located 40 minutes away. You will be able to start fishing in the different areas of the river. Apéritif and dinner in the evening. • Day 2 Breakfast at 7:30 am. Float on the Picacho River as far as "La Cascada" (the waterfall). Streamside lunch. • Day 3 40-minute trip aboard NRS pontoon boats to Lake Roosevelt where hundreds of brown trout feed among the reeds. From there we have a 30-minute trek to our destination to the lake, where we fish either from a boat or in a float tube. (Horses available if you choose not to walk.) In the afternoon we return to the landing site and board the power boats for the ride back to the Lodge. It is possible to spend the night in a tent on the lake shore provided you request this before setting off on the trip.** • Day 4 Float trip in the direction of Lake Copa for all-day fishing (lunch included), returning • Day 5 Float along the Picacho River from the Lodge, going downstream a few miles where there is abundant fishing. That night there will be a farewell dinner. • Day 6 Fishing all day in Laguna Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Toqui River, and Picaflor River. • Day 7 Fishing all day in the upper part of Picacho River. • Day 8 Early morning departure for the river mouth where you will be taken to the airport or, if you are traveling the following day, to the city of Coyhaique. |

We have slots open for HOSTED BONEFISHING TRIPS TO ABACO - April and November 2008. A slot can be yours for a $250 deposit! This is a super trip offering some of the finest bonefishing in the islands either from the deck of a Carolina skiff or wading the flats that run down the beach from the lodge. We have the best guides plus personal instruction (if requested) and the finest gear if you need it. You'll dine on fine island cuisine prepared by a local cook; we provide set ups for breakfast and a bag lunch to take wading or on the boat.
