At Camp Decrypt 2022, a panel of NFT INT members discussed the potential of NFTs as storytelling tools. Jason Michael Primrose, author of „Lost Children of Andromeda“, along with Amanda Terry of Metagood and ACTAI Ventures, Artemysia-X of Rug Radio program LorePlay, and Kas Vegas of NFT INT, Huxley, and Feature.io, shared their insights on the topic to a lively audience. The panel was moderated by What’s Trending podcast host Shira Lazar.
At Web Summit 2022, Kathleen Breitman, co-founder of the Tezos blockchain, spoke about the capabilities of the proof-of-stake mechanism, her admiration for Tendermint, Ethereum and sharding, progressive decentralization, and NFT gaming. She was joined onstage by Decrypt’s Stephen Graves.
Finally, at 0xpo Summit in San Francisco on November 3, Clay Robbins of Slow Ventures, Soona Amhaz of Volt Capital, Sarah Guo of Conviction and formerly Greylock, and Alex Strzesniewski of AngelBlock discussed venture money raising during Crypto Winter. They were joined by Decrypt’s Jason Nelson for an extensive panel on the subject.
The Crypties Awards 2022 was also held, with Illa Da Producer accepting the award on behalf of Yuga Labs from presenter Alanna Roazzi-Laforet. The category of NFT project of the year had five nominees, including Moonbirds, Azuki, DeGods, and CloneX.
Overall, the events of Camp Decrypt 2022, Web Summit 2022, and 0xpo Summit offered a wealth of insight into the potential of NFTs for storytelling, the capabilities of the proof-of-stake mechanism, and venture money raising during Crypto Winter. The Crypties Awards also paid homage to some of the most successful NFT projects of the year.
